Our relationship with CCP is no more or less special than any player's, and we really have legitimately worked for and earned all that we have. Even things that were "handed to us" such as Deklein in the post-delve era we earned as a result of having made good friends and forged strong diplomatic ties.

At most they'd be able to squeeze a couple of percent, and if they did, chances are they would lose enough people to not make any extra.
Anyone that owns huge areas of pocos will always be better off setting competitive rates to ensure their use. If they raise it, after a certain point the cost to do PI outweighs the potential PI profit based on market averages. I imagine that both RVB and Goons will remain on a 5% tax rate for the forseeable future.

While in theory they could spike the rates occasionally to steer market prices, they would need to do that on a large scale. The fact that you have to edit each poco by hand would make that take a considerable amount of time to do, probably too much time to make it worthwhile.

There are still plenty of Interbus customs offices out there, if you want a slice of the action yourself. Sure, you'll have to be in a non-npc corp, but that's hardly a big deal. It's an incentive to take the risk.
